The Prada mobile phone by LG (KE850) has a beautifully sleek and
simplistic appearance. Featuring a large 3" LCD touch screen display
with a stunning 320 x 480 pixel resolution, in addition to a 2
mega-pixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics as well as a micro SD
memory card slot. The most fascinating thing about the display itself
is that it’s made using the capacitive touch screen technology. What
this means is that the screen uses electro-conductivity to sense your
touch - much like the touch pad on the popular LG Chocolate mobile
phone. This technology is created to be usable with fingers only, so
the use of a stylus is out of the question whatsoever.
Glowing icons on the face of the phone disappear when not in use to
reveal a pure, un-adulterated black exterior. The phone is ultra thin
(just 12 mm), nonetheless it hosts an array of additional multimedia
adn business functions, including an MP3 player, Bluetooth, a micro SD
slot and a music multitasking function for messaging. It also boasts an
external memory slot, allowing the user to increase memory capacity for
images, music and film clips.
